Birth Certificate

Birth Certificate

If you need a copy of your Birth Certificate, you will need to apply to the Registrar General's Department. You can visit any of their offices islandwide, or click here to apply for a Birth Certificate online.

When applying, you will need to have the following information:

  • Full and correct spelling of your First and Last Name
  • Full and correct spelling of your parent's first and last name.
  • Date of Birth
  • Place of Birth (Hospital Name or Home Address)
  • Parish of Birth
  • Registration (Birth Entry) Number. If you do not have the Birth Entry Number, you can request a search at the RGD Office in your parish, or you can request the entry number online here

All children should be registered within 12 months of birth. However, if this was not done,  you can visit any one of the RGD offices and speak with one of the Customer Service Representatives. These representatives will guide you in conducting a Late Registration.
