Jerahmeel James

Jerahmeel is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance and Economics. Currently he is pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Economics. A lover of leadership, service, sports, culture and academics; Jerahmeel enjoys playing cricket and football, aspires to be an Economist and philanthropist, and hopes to play a significant role in changing his country, Jamaica, into the world class nation he knows and believes it can be, starting with his home parish, St Mary.

He is a past student of the St Mary High School, captaining the school's cricket team for four years. He is currently a resident of the Aston Preston Hall, UWI Mona, where he has served as Deputy Hall Chairman (2014-15) and Hall Chairman (2015-16). As someone who was brought up in Christian beliefs, Jerahmeel enjoys frequently attending and actively partaking in Church.
