The IDB has launched a call to nominate institutions implementing sustainable projects with proven impact on the development of Latin America and the Caribbean. Juscelino Kubitschek Award was created to recognize institutions and organizations that contribute to reducing poverty and promoting equality. We invite you to nominate projects sustainable and proven impact in any of its two categories: "Economy and Finance" and "Social, Cultural and Scientific". Each category will be awarded $ 100,000.

Category Economy and Finance:

This category encompasses entities that promote economic growth and support the public and private financial sector, improvements in productivity and international trade through programs and activities in the following areas: production infrastructure, financial services (finance SMEs) , institutional strengthening of national and local organizations to promote efficiency and fiscal sustainability.

Category Social, Cultural and Scientific:

In this category fall the entities that provide social support to improve productivity and enhance equality through programs and activities in the following areas: social safety net and poverty, services and job training, education, science and technology, health , gender and diversity, initiatives that contribute to the cultural heritage of peoples. Closing: June 17, 2013.
