The National Youth Council of Jamaica (NYCJ) will host a Church Service in commemoration of Youth Month 2012 on Sunday, November 4. The Service will be held at the Eastwood Park New Testament Church of God, and begins at 10:30a.m.

Ryan Small, Chairman of the NYCJ noted that the Church Service is one in a series of activities to be hosted throughout the Month of November as Jamaica celebrates its youth. His Excellency Governor General Sir Patrick Alllen will be in attendance to deliver his official Youth Month address.

According to Small, "Youth Month is a time to celebrate and genuinely recognise the contributions of young people to community development and nation building. Amidst the celebrations, there is the opportunity to place focus on key youth issues, and to empower youth through initiatives for their economic and social development."
