ST. MARY YIC NEWS

The St. Mary Youth Information Centre (YIC) is nested in the small town of Port Maria on the historical plane of the Emmanuel Baptist Church grounds. The YIC has been open since November 13, 2003 as one of the pioneer hubs for youth empowerment under Operation Phoenix. Since the inception of the YIC, there has been approximately forty five thousand (45,000) users with female users accounting for about 55% of total usership.

 The YIC has been known for boasting an active cadre of young volunteers who are symbiotically affiliated with the YIC. Our volunteers are given the opportunity to develop professionally while challenging their leadership and administrative skills. The doors are open to other youth to come join our elite group of volunteers. The YIC is your one-stop shop to meet friends, for personal empowerment, counseling and personal transformation.
