Thirty (30) young persons from St. Ann, Trelawny and St. Mary had the opportunity to meet with business leaders from St. Ann for the first session of the Around The Table Dialogues, being hosted by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information in commemoration of Youth Month 2016. The young persons had previously registered via YouthJamaica.com for the session which was held on November 7, 2016 at the Bamboo Blu Restaurant, Mammee Bay in St. Ann.

The Hon. Floyd Green, State Minister in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information explained that the initiative was designed to provide a platform for young people to engage with experienced business leaders and professionals for networking and knowledge transfer. There was a focus on the use of interactive methodologies, with the youth able to seek clarification from the business leaders on issues relating to business and career development.
